Requirements:

• Diploma in accounting or Professional Accounting/Finance Certificates
• At least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing sector in managerial capacity
• Proficiency in English for both writing and speaking
• Excellent communication skills
• An analytical approach to work
• High numeracy and sound technical skills
• Problem-solving skills and initiative
• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature

The profile:

• Experience in setting up of finance department work flow and ERP accounting system for a newly established company
• Familiar with Local Accounting Standard and local tax regulation
• Capable of preparing full set accounts of monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Strong knowledge in cost accounting, ability to generate product and standard costing
• Experience in setting up SOP of finance department will be added advantage

Tasks:

• Responsible for leading the accounts team in all accounting and costing matters to ensure timeliness and accurate reporting of the company financial performance
• Responsible for tatutory filing and audit compliance, as well as internal control compliance
• Manage customer aging and collection
• Perform stock count check as per schedule
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretary as well as regulatory bodies in relation to the issues related to accounts, taxation and relevant statutory requirements
• Assist Senior Management on any ad-hoc assignment from time to time
